Cialis

Cialis (tadalafil) is an anti-impotence medication intended for men of any age suffering from impotence. This medicine provides for a stable erection that will go away once you have completed sexual intercourse. Nitrate-based drugs are not supposed to be taken if you are currently on Cialis, and even if you have recently taken a nitrate based medicine, taking Cialis is not safe. Isosorbide dinitrate, nitroglycerin or isosorbide mononitrate are most popular nitrate based drugs that in combination with Cialis can cause fainting, stroke, heart attack and even death because of sudden drop in blood pressure. Recreational drugs, such as amyl nitrate or nitrite can also contain nitrates and should therefore be avoided. If you experience nausea, numbness or tingling in your jaw, neck, chest or arms, dizziness, chest pain, or any other symptoms of the kind while having sex (after taking Cialis) make sure you stop the activity immediately and call your doctor as soon as possible. Before you are prescribed any dose (Cialis comes in tablets containing 5, 10 an 20 mg of the active ingredient), make sure your health care provider is aware of any health conditions you have, such as a history of a stroke, angina, Peyronie's disease, a history of congestive heart failure, heart disease, low blood pressure, heart rhythm problems, physical deformity of the penis, sickle cell anemia, hemophilia, high blood pressure, chest pain, multiple myeloma, a recent history of a heart attack, retinitis pigmentosa, leukemia, or any other ones that may potentially interfere with the effectiveness of your treatment. You need to be aware of certain side effects that are possible if you just started to take Cialis (mainly mild side effects), or if you are taking it the wrong way and need a dose adjustment (more serious side effects). The following symptoms are considered to be mild side effects and you really do not need to report them anywhere unless they become bothersome or continue long after the effects of Cialis are gone: memory problems, headache, upset stomach, diarrhea, muscle pain, stuffy nose, and back pain. More serious side effects are quite rare, but you also need to know about their possibility and tell your doctor if you get any of the following reactions: sudden vision loss, ringing in your ears, sudden hearing loss, convulsions, nausea, lightheadedness, vision changes, chest pain, priapism, sweating, irregular heartbeat, swelling in your hands, and shortness of breath.
